Nigerian rapper and songwriter, Ycee, has been on the toll of massive criticism since outlining what he feels is overly attributed to the fall of proficiency and intellectual abilities in the Nigerian system.
While featuring as a guest in a viral podcast, the Nigerian Rapper voiced that it has unfortunately been stretched to the point where the intellectual proficiency in Nigeria has been undermined by the heat of a disturbing number of mediocre dominating every single phase of publicity in the Nigeria.
According to him, he is very overly distraught with the reality vastly inclined with many people patronizing illustrates and non intellectual profiles because of their influences and money.
The term he identified as “Olodo” was directed to these people, he claimes conflict to the disturbing uprising of non intellectual personalities in Nigeria. Expressing further, he revealed that these people who were sympathized with blending in the environment may have turned out dominant, which doesn’t slide well with him.
He mentioned Peller as a core example to these sets of “Olodo” influencers that have piriotised celebrating and influencing the non intellectual attributes of line.
Moment after his utterances went viral, criticism sparked via all the social media platforms, as Peller fans reacted massively according to their grief, aligning to his response also.
Meanwhile, Ycee also opened up about his long term battle with bipolar disorder, which conflicted with his sudden absence in the Nigerian music realm.
