Vanillah – Hasira/Birthday

Vanillah is a Tanzanian Bongo Flava artist signed to Kings Music Records and he chose “Hasira” to open his “Listen to Me Again” EP for a reason.

As an opening track it does exactly what a good introduction should do. It pulls you into the emotional world of the project before anything else starts, giving you a sense of who Vanillah is as a storyteller before the collaborations come in later on the tape.
